About

Beyonca Alem specializes in the practice of employment law and a variety of personal injury matters. Beyonca’s practice focuses on a wide range of labor and employment disputes, including wage and hour, discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and statutory compliance. She is committed to providing zealous advocacy for her clients.

Beyonca earned her J.D in 2017 from Chapman University Fowler School of Law. While attending law school, she joined the Bette and Wylie Aitken Family Protection Clinic as a student attorney, whereby she worked towards resolving unique challenges faced by survivors of domestic violence with immigration issues. Prior to her arrival at Mahoney Law Group, Beyonca gained litigation experience performing legal research and writing, drafting pleadings, and preparing for hearings and trials while interning for an Irvine based business litigation firm. Beyonca also holds a Mediation Certificate from Chapman University Fowler school of law and has successfully mediated numerous cases. She is also fluent in speaking, reading and writing in Farsi.

In addition to her law degree, Beyonca earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business in 2013 with a minor in behavioral and cultural psychology.
