What To Bring Your Attorney

There are a few documents* that you should bring to your initial consultation to give your attorney a clear picture of your potential case. The list below includes the suggested items you should bring to your initial consultation if they are in your possession:

  • Personnel File, Employee Handbook, Paystubs, Performance Reviews, and Termination letter—if applicable
  • A Brief Journal of Your Experience—including key actions, comments & events as remembered to the best of ability
  • Evidence of Your Claim, Discrimination or Harassment—e.g. offensive pictures, emails, postings, and/or communications from your employers, supervisors, or managers, etc.
  • Information on Witnesses—general contact information of any potential witnesses of your claims

*These documents will help the attorneys at Mahoney Law Group assess your potential claims. In addition, we recommend absolute honesty in communicating with the attorneys; it is better for us to know the truth in analyzing your particular situation in order for our attorneys to make the best possible evaluation and plan of action to your specific situation.
